“The Plastics Manufacturing Industry has always used recycled raw materials in its production processes, from its own production waste to waste from domestic and industrial circuits.”
Plastval
Non-profit public limited company
“Although more and more products are produced using fully recycled plastics and they serve their intended purpose perfectly, the use of recycled raw material is generally limited to a percentage that varies according to the product concerned and is used in combination with virgin raw material. The reasons for such a procedure are related to the need to ensure certain structural properties, levels of quality, safety, hygiene and even of aesthetics of the product that the recycled raw material, given the lack of knowledge of its origin, cannot guarantee.”
At CPLAS, we try day after day, to invest in more sustainable plastic options, to reduce the use of virgin plastic, supporting the creation of a circular economy for plastics.
Some of the measures already implemented include the reuse of all rejected products, which are ground up and reenter our manufacturing process. In this way, we achieve 100% reuse of the waste generated.
In our website we present products made with 100% recycled plastic, these are identified with the acronym PR (recycled plastic)
